Lee Edwards

Lee Edwards plays music that makes you feel…and think. Lee’s music combines folk, rock, blues and country to create a blend that’s melodic, driving, Southern, fun, and heartfelt. His original, award-winning songs range from tender and intimate to outrageous.

Lee started out in the house band of a rural Texas steakhouse at age 18, then played around the Washington D.C. area in an acoustic trio. Later he graduated to Austin rock bands. Now Lee, on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica is joined by his darlin’, Claudia Voyles, on sultry vocals. 

He holds a Bachelor's in philosophy and a Ph.D. in psychology. He draws on both backgrounds to create music for both heart and mind.

Shows are fun, funny, touching and thought-provoking. Lee draws the audience into being part of the music, and they respond by singing along. It's music from the heart, and it’s good for the soul.
